Florence + the machine - St Jude

At the risk of being melodramatic, I don't know if I can take all the emotions that Florence is giving me right now. Am I alone or does all of her new material make you want to runaway to her video locations and commence the adventure of your life?

In summary: no harps, lots of humming, a backing chorus, lyrics about trying to find meaning in life, a titillating none-climax that leaves you wanting more.

I love this woman, but I fear that how big, how blue, how beautiful will ruin me.

Florence + the machine - What kind of man

Florence is back.

I hate to say it, but I didn't expect this, her first single from her brilliantly named third album How big, how blue, how beautiful, to be quite this good. 

Here Florence turns her back on all-out pop to return to her gospel roots with this epic track that is at once jubilant and angry. 

Long standing Florence fans will be more than satisfied by this track; as one, I Love, love, LOVE it. 

PS - the video deserves an Oscar
